QC Coatings is a Quad Cities business built around a single service: keeping asphalt shingle roofs alive longer than they would otherwise last.
Why this exists
Too many roofs get replaced years before they need to be
Spend enough time around roofs in this part of the country and you notice the same thing over and over: perfectly sound shingles coming off in a dumpster because they looked tired. Faded, a bit dry, some granule in the gutters — but nothing actually broken.
The industry has one answer to that, and it costs ten thousand dollars. For roofs that are genuinely finished, it's the right answer. For roofs that have simply dried out, it's an enormous amount of money and a landfill full of shingles that had years left.
Nanotechnology treatment gave the trade a second answer. QC Coatings exists to bring that answer to the Quad Cities properly — with real inspections, honest yes-or-no advice, and a warranty from a company that still lives twenty minutes from your house.

Every inspection comes with photographs of your own roof. No vague warnings about things you can't verify from the ground.
No same-day pressure
The quote doesn't expire when we pull out of the driveway. Nobody needs to sign anything on the spot, and there is no discount for doing so.

A fifteen-year warranty means nothing from a crew that moves on after storm season. We're here, and we intend to still be here.

Every hail event in the Quad Cities brings out-of-state crews door-knocking within days. Some are fine. Many are gone by the time the warranty matters. A few useful tests, whoever you are talking to:
- Ask for a local address and look it up
- Ask who honours the warranty in year ten, by name
- Be suspicious of a price that only exists today
- Ask for photographs of your roof, not a generic brochure
- Check they'll put the scope in writing before any deposit
- Never pay in full up front
